Si wafer를 이용한 LIB의 Si 활물질 제조

- Title: From Si wafer to cheap and efficient Si electrodes for Li-ion batteries

- INRS-Energie의 Lionel Roue 그룹은 Si wafer를 활용하여 Li-ion battery에서 사용 할 수 있는 값 싼 Si 음극 활물질을 제조 할 수 있다고 Journal of Power Sources에 발표하였다.

- High energy ball milling을 통해 Si wafer를 재활용하여 LIB에 사용 가능한 Si 분말을 만들었다. 이렇게 만들어진 Si 분말은 submicrometric nanocrystalline Si 분말들이 서로 뭉쳐진 형태를 가진다.

- ball milling으로 만들어진 nanostructured Si로 인해 우수한 전기화학적 성능을 나타낸다. 1200 mAh/g 의 용량(극판 용량 800 mAh/g)에서 900 cycle의 장수명의 확보가 가능하며, coulombic 효율도 99% 이상으로 유지 된다.
